For these, you need limited and readily available ingredients in your kitchen. Almonds, Kaju, pistachios, milk, and other spices make this thandai tasty and full of nutrients.

1. Gulkand Thandai Recipe

Homemade sweet, simple and easy recipe to beat the heat of summer season. This thandai is made of almonds and other nuts.

Ingredients For Thandai Mix:

  • 1 cup almonds
  • ½ cup cashews
  • ¾ cup melon seeds
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 3-4 green cardamom
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds

For thandai:

  • 1-liter regular milk
  • 1 tsp saffron (Soaked in 2 tbsp of milk)
  • Sugar, as per taste
  • 2 tbsp gulkand
  • Rose petals for garnishing
  • 2 tbsp almonds and pistachios for garnishing (finely chopped)

How To Make Gulkand Thandai?

  1. First, take a pan, dry roast all nuts of thandai mix, and set aside to cool completely.
  2. Collect all the dry roast ingredients in the blender jar and grind until powdered.
  3. Immediately store this powder in an airtight container. And keep it in a dry place.
  4. Now boil the milk and cool completely.
  5. Take a jug, add 7-8 tbsp of thandai mix powder, soaked saffron mix, and sugar. Mix thoroughly to dissolve the sugar.
  6. Now add gulkand for aroma and give a good stir of mixing by the glass to glass.
  7. Pour the cold thandai into a serving glass, garnish it with rose petals and chopped almonds and pistachios.

This punk of flavour is the most refreshing. A twist of fresh strawberry pulp brings a classic heap to the taste and aroma of this chilled pink beverage.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup strawberry pulp
  • 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream

For Thandai :

  • 4-5 almonds
  • 4-6 cashew nuts
  • 5-7 pistachios
  • 2 cardamoms
  • ¼ tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1-2 white pepper seeds

How To Make Strawberry Thandai?

  1. In a grinder, add all the thandai mix ingredients and make a fine powder.
  2. Add milk, strawberry pulp, vanilla ice cream, sugar, thandai powder, and ice cubes in the same mixer or grinder. Blend all at high speed.
  3. Once it is done, transfer into a serving glass, garnish it with the chopped nuts and sliced strawberries. And serve chilled.
