With a number of critically acclaimed films to his credit, Ayushmann Khurrana is a well-known actor in Bollywood today. A multi-talented personality, he has hosted TV shows in the past, and also enjoys singing. But it’s his love for food that we want to talk about the most. Ayushmann recently celebrated his 38th birthday, and the cake looked too delectable to miss.

The actor spent the day with his wife, Tahira Kashyap and brother Aparshakti Khurana. To make his day more special, Tahira got him a lovely cake  and Aparshakti was quick to post a cute picture of the couple on his Instagram stories. The duo was seen standing and posing with a decadent cake kept in front of them. What cake was it? Well, it looked like a mille-feuille.

Mille Feuille

Although it was quite an unusual choice for a birthday cake, Ayushmann is known for his eccentricities and distinct taste, so we aren’t surprised. For the unversed, mille-feuille is a kind of French puff pastry that is made up of several layers. These layers are slathered with a filling like pastry cream in between. Mille-Feuille literally translates to a thousand sheets in the native language and this dessert is surely a treat to the taste buds.

To add to the vibe of the cake, the decadent sweet meat is topped with mini burgers and donuts. This makes the cake even more delectable. Not just this, there were plenty of other cakes that made it to the Badhai Ho actor’s birthday celebrations. He posted a video of all the gifts and goodies he received from friends, family and fans on his special day and we spotted two chocolate cakes on the table too.

The die-hard foodie also relishes home-cooked desi food more than anything else and his list of favourites include classics like kadhi chawal, rajma and ma ke haath ki dal. Not just delicious food, he is also a fan of vegetables like bitter gourd, bottle gourd and more and knows how to balance his cravings with indulgences.
