With just over a month left for the year to end, it looks like people are already making plans to enjoy the holiday season by travelling to far-off exotic locations or to go on short road trips simply to spend some quality time with their family and friends. And our celebrities too are all about some private time with their loved ones. Be it London, Dubai, Singapore, or Maldives, one can spot our B-Town celebs all over. One of our favourite couples - Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli - however has chosen a domestic destination instead. The power couple headed to Uttarakhand to soak in some winter sun, and spend time with each other. And knowing that they both are foodies, can their vacation ever be complete without food? Unlikely.

Anushka took to Instagram to share a picture of a yummy dish that she enjoyed along with Virat in Uttarakhand. In the picture, we could see a scrumptious plate of soya chaap. The tandoori treat is quite popular in the northern parts of the country. It is made by roasting small chunks of soybean in a tandoor, and is served with onion, capsicum, and green chutney. "Excellent soya chaap" wrote the actor in the caption of her story, along with a drooling emoji. For it, she also thanked a restaurant located on Rampur Road, called Haldwani. Take a look:

 Earlier, Anushka and Virat were also spotted at a temple in Kakrighat, near Nainital]. Fans took pictures with the star couple, some of which have been going viral on social media. This is not the first time we have seen our foodie Anushka enjoying some mouth-watering treats. Those who keep a tab on her social media profile would know that she often posts her foodie indulgence on Instagram, where she has over 61 million followers. 

Recently, she gave us a sneak peek into her healthy and fulfilling midday snack, which featured Greek yoghurt, berries, and nuts - it was indeed a wholesome meal in itself. Read more about it here.
