Anushka Sharma, who is holidaying with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli and daughter Vamika in London seems to be enjoying to the fullest while on the break. Prior to this the actor, along with her family, was in Paris, and we told you how she was being all Parisian, as she enjoyed a classic breakfast of crispy croissants with some coffee.
When in Paris, eat as many croissants as you can, the actor said. Read more about it here. The actor-producer then went to London, there too she noshed on some croissants, but not before gorging on some delish sourdough pizza. Yes, the actor is indeed on a food spree, that just doesn’t seem to end.
In the latest update on her food trail, Anushka along with Virat visited an Indian eatery in London to dine, and the picture has gone viral ever since it was shared by Executive Chef Surender Mohan. The eatery in Mayfair, called Bombay Bustle, is popular for recreating some of Mumbai’s most loved dishes and capturing the essence of the city. It specialises in home-style cooking with family recipes, which include Chole Bhature, Rarah Keema Pao and Madras Chicken Curry with southern spices and coconut milk.
Chef Mohan took to Twitter to share a picture of him with the power couple, and the restaurant behind them. “Happy & honoured to have had the wonderfully warm and pride of India @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma dine with us”, he wrote while tagging Bombay Bustle, along with a couple of emojis including that of the Indian flag. Take a look:
Wondering what all ‘Virushka’- as they are fondly called by fans - must’ve noshed on? Being vegetarian, the couple would have had a lot many options at the Indian eatery. A little research took us to the menu of Bombay Bustle which is full of fiery flavours of desi flavours including paneer tikka masala, urlai roast, lasooni palak, Kapurthala baingan bharta, and much more. The menu sure looks interesting, and if you are motivated to try some of the most amazing Indian veg recipes, we’ve got you sorted. Click here for some delicious Indian recipes to try for dinner.
