With the heart and enthusiasm of a kid, Anupam Kher is still young at 67. The actor loves eating out and equally enjoys home-cooked meals. For him, the day is made if he gets the taste of much-revered Kashmiri cuisine. Since it is the festive season, everyone’s been exchanging gifts and here’s what Anupam received from his friend.

Recently, Anupam took to his Instagram stories to share a Diwali hamper he received from his friend, actor Maniesh Paul. While Anupam has been busy promoting his film, Unnchai, this gift arrived as a sweet surprise for him. In the video, the actor unboxes the hamper and in it he finds a nutty package. The bundle included loads of jars filled with a variety of nuts.

There were Italian herb cashews, protein trail mix, chocolate coated nuts, and several other flavoured nuts and dry fruits. There was a note inside it too, wishing “Anupam sir and Kirron ma’am a very happy Diwali”. The actor read out the note and was quite delighted to receive heartfelt wishes from his friend.

Since Anupam is a food lover, especially desserts, this was the ideal gift for him. Earlier too, we’ve seen Anupam gorging on lavish sweet spreads at buffets. Not only the desi mithais like ladoos, barfis and jalebis, he also drools over chocolate cakes, pastries, tarts, pies, and more. During his recent visit to Agra, the actor couldn’t help but dig into the sweetmeats popular in the city.

While pethas were definitely on his mind, there were a plethora of halwas and desi sweets on the menu too, including, kesar barfi and badam halwa. “Dekho aur barbaad ho jao”, he captioned the story. The Kashmir Files actor has never failed to give us a major sugar rush. Each time he is travelling to a new place, we eagerly wait for his food stories that make us drool and crave even more.
