The Bollywood fraternity sees a new star kid rising to fame every now and then. Launched by Karan Johar in the movie, Student of the Year, Varun Dhawan and Ananya Panday are the OG students of B-town. While Varun featured in the first film, Ananya acted in the standalone sequel to it. The two shared a cute moment of bonding over food and we aren’t surprised because they both are complete foodies.

Ananya took to her Instagram feed to share an image of herself with fellow student, Varun. The latter was seen holding a bowl of ice cream and both looked extremely happy. Ananya wrote in the caption, “my sweet and spiritual friend @varundhawan eating ice cream #Student1Student2 @karanjohar”.

Well, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the two actors indulging in good food. We cannot forget the time when Ananya was on a promotional spree for her latest release, Liger. She was seen gorging on the regional delicacies in each state. In Gujarat, we saw her eating an elaborate regional thali with dhokla and khandvi, etc. Then, when she was in the South with her co-actor, Vijay Deverakonda, she was enjoying a traditional banana leaf meal.

Similarly, we saw Varun too digging into some classic North Indian dishes like shahi paneer, butter chicken, naan, rice and dahi bhallas with the team of his film Jugjugg Jeeyo. Earlier, the actor was vacationing in Europe, and was spotted with co-actor and friend, Janhvi Kapoor in Paris. While in the beautiful city, the dil se desi foodie couldn’t resist the urge to eat chicken curry with steamed rice that one could see on his table. Not to forget his birthday this year, where the Main Tera Hero actor was celebrating the day with a lavish Awadhi meal in Lucknow.

The specially-curated menu featured tamatar dhaniya ka shorba, dahi ke kebab, nilofer kebab, galawat kebab, jheenga lehsuni and much more. The traditional Lucknowi feast looked absolutely lip-smacking and the actor was quite pleased with how everything turned out. No wonder Ananya and Varun get along so well with their foodie instincts.
