Eases Pain And Inflammation:

Both ajwain and turmeric possess anti-inflammatory properties that can help alleviate pain and reduce inflammation in the body. Ajwain contains compounds like thymol, which have analgesic properties and can provide relief from various types of pain, including headaches and joint pain. Turmeric's  curcumin is known for its strong anti-inflammatory effects, which can help alleviate chronic pain conditions such as arthritis.

Supports Digestive Health:

Ajwain has long been used in traditional medicine for its digestive benefits. It helps stimulate the release of digestive enzymes, improving digestion and reducing bloating and indigestion. Ajwain is also known to have carminative properties, which can help alleviate gas and colic. Turmeric, with its anti-inflammatory properties, may help soothe and heal the digestive system, reducing inflammation and promoting gut health.

Promotes Better Sleep:

Ajwain turmeric milk can also contribute to a good night's sleep. Ajwain is believed to have sedative properties that can help calm the mind and induce sleep. Turmeric, with its potential to reduce inflammation and improve mood, may also contribute to a more relaxed state conducive to sleep. Drinking a warm glass of ajwain turmeric milk before bed can help promote better sleep quality and relaxation.

It's important to note that while ajwain turmeric milk offers potential benefits, individual responses may vary. It's always advisable to consult a healthcare professional or a qualified herbalist before incorporating any new drink or supplement into your routine, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking medications. Additionally, ensure that you use high-quality ingredients and follow proper preparation methods to maximise the benefits of ajwain turmeric milk.

Ajwain Turmeric Milk

Ingredients:

•1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

•1 teaspoon of Ajwain

•1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

•1 tablespoon honey or any other sweetener (optional)

•A pinch of black pepper (optional)

Instructions:

•In a small saucepan, pour the milk and place it over medium heat.

•Add ajwain to the milk and allow it to come to a gentle boil. Stir occasionally to prevent the milk from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

•Once the milk starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. This allows the ajwain to infuse its flavours into the milk.

•Add turmeric powder to the milk and stir well to combine. Turmeric provides a vibrant yellow colour and brings health benefits to the drink.

•If desired, add a pinch of black pepper to enhance the absorption of turmeric's beneficial compound, curcumin.

•Allow the milk to simmer for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring that the flavours are well incorporated.

•Remove the pan from the heat and strain the milk to remove the ajwain seeds.

•If desired, add honey or any other sweetener to taste and stir until it dissolves completely.

•Transfer the ajwain turmeric milk to a serving cup and enjoy it warm.

Note: Adjust the quantity of ajwain, turmeric, and sweetener according to your taste preferences. You can also experiment with adding other spices, like cinnamon or ginger, for additional flavour and health benefits.
