We all feel like snacking on something delicious and savouring a steaming cup of chai as the clock strikes four. In India, chai time would not be complete without delectable munchies. There is an endless variety of food to eat with your sham ki chai, including crumbly cookies, biscuits, and namkeen as well as bhel, pakoras, and more. While everyone has their own preferences when it comes to food, there is one thing every chai fan recommends. And there's a plate of crispy cutlets with mint chutney and tomato ketchup. A well-known Indian snack meal called bread cutlet uses bread and a variety of vegetables. In India, it is frequently referred to as bread ke cutlet and is a tasty evening snack or after-school treat for kids. In contrast to the vegetable cutlet recipe, which is fairly similar, the bread cutlet recipe uses bread rather than breadcrumbs to give the cutlets their beautiful soft texture and crispiness. Cutlet is a popular food that is cooked anywhere, from kiosks on the side of the road to our home kitchens. Masterchef Pankaj Bhadouria reveals her recipe for bread cutlets on social media, which makes a delicious morning or evening snack to enjoy the beautiful monsoon.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

6 slices of sandwich bread

¼ cup water

½ cup yoghurt

2 tbsp oil

1 boiled potato

1 grated carrot

A few frozen peas

A few frozen corn

2-3 chopped green chillies

½ cup chopped onion

Salt to taste

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp black pepper powder

1 cup dry bread crumbs

Method:

In a bowl, place six slices of sandwich bread. Mix it with your hands after adding water.  Add yogurt and thoroughly stir the mixture, allow it to sit for 10 minutes. To make the stuffing, mash some boiled potatoes with grated carrot, frozen peas, frozen corn, chopped green chilies, and chopped onion. Salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and black pepper powder should be used to season your filling. To the bread mixture, stir the stuffing thoroughly. Ensure that the two mixtures are thoroughly combined. Now form the mixture into balls and roll them in dry bread crumbs. Place a pan on the stove and add some oil. Let the oil heat, add the cutlets one by one and fry until golden brown. Enjoy steaming hot cutlets with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
