In the first slide, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor can be seen posing outside the Rameshwaram Cafe. In the selfie, Kartik was holding a plate of dosa. In another photo, he was seen digging into a delicious South Indian meal that was served on a banana leaf. The traditional thali included rasam, buttermilk, sambar, chutney, papad and many other dishes.

In one clip of his post, Kartik was spotted asking for two filter coffees in a southern language but mistakenly shows four fingers. In the next few photos shared by him, the actor can be seen enjoying coffee and dosa outside the Rameshwaram Cafe with his group.

In another video, Kartik mistakes sambar for dal. As the food was being served, he said, "Thoda thoda dena, zada mat dena (Give a little, not much)." and while he was given a bowl of sambar, Kartik asked, "Dal?" and the server replied it was sambar, Kartik asked, "Veg na (It's vegetarian, right)?"

People in the comment section loved his food blogger mode. Reacting to the photos, Mini Mathur commented, “Oh what!?!??" To which Kartik replied, "@minimathur haha abhi maintenance diet pe...cheat day tha (I'm on maintenance diet now...it was cheat day).” Fanta India said, “Rooting for you, #fnacker! I will ensure your blogger adventures are fanta-stic." In reply to the comment, the actor said, “Yes, Les do this.”
