With a few box office hits to her credit this year, actor Kiara Advani is now all set to enjoy the festive season with family and friends. She is a die-hard foodie and loves to share glimpses of her nibbles with her fans and followers on social media. Since ‘the festival of lights’ is around the corner, the actor decided to treat herself to a lavish pre-Diwali lunch.

Kiara took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of a delicious spread from weekend binge. She was seen digging into a huge banana leaf meal that consisted of a plethora of dishes from Kerala, and looked absolutely lip-smacking. There was avial, sambar, and rasam. Then there were several traditional curries on the platter too, paired with a scoop of rice. One could also spot pachadi and other chutneys on the banana leaf along with papadam.

We also saw a few pieces of crispy banana chips famous in Kerala, along with a glass of buttermilk kept on the side. Lastly, there was a bowl of payasam to satiate the sweet tooth and a cute genda flower beside it. Diyas lit in the centre of the table, with flowers surrounding them, the actor was giving us major festive goals. She wrote, “Diwali Lunch”, and tagged her friend, @sanyalakhani and said “you”.

Given Kiara’s Diwali indulgence, we aren’t surprised because she is a self-confessed foodie, who likes all things desi. Looks like North Indian food is her weakness, as we saw her tucking into butter chicken, paneer, dal makhani, and more on the sets of Jugjugg Jeeyo with co-actor, Varun Dhawan. In fact, her fascination for South Indian food is also not new. We saw her enjoying a delicious breakfast on flight - consisting of dosa, idlis, chutneys, and sambar.

The two actors were also spotted earlier inside the Mumbai metro, eating vada pav and flouting rules because they called it the VIP treatment. Her sweet tooth cannot be ignored either, as she loves chocolates, ice creams, and more.
