A wine with a considerable amount of carbon dioxide, making it bubbly, is called a sparkling wine. It is commonly white or rosé in colour, though it can also be red, and is typically created from fermented grape juice with alcohol.


To capture the carbon dioxide produced during the secondary fermentation, sparkling wine is made in a closed container, like a bottle or tank.

Agrapart & Fils Minéral Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Champagne Grand Cru 'Avize'

A wonderful time is guaranteed with this vintage Champagne from Agrapart, especially when the evening demands something particularly special. Produced from old vineyards in the centre of Avize, on the Côte des Blancs, this organic wine is arguably the liveliest of its cuvées. The wine's complex palate exudes chalky aromas of pear, crushed rocks, sweet spice, and freshly baked bread. This is not a bottle for the weak of the heart.

Schramsberg Blanc De Noirs

Only red-skinned fruit. Usually, Pinot Noir and/or Pinot Meunier are used in Blanc de Noirs. Bright, full-bodied, and bursting with flavours of red fruits, strawberries, and minerals, this Schramsberg expression is made sustainably. One of California's oldest vineyards produces the wine utilising the méthode traditionelle. Enjoy charcuterie boards or other happy hour appetisers while sipping cold beverages.

Jansz Tasmania Brut Rosé

Flavours of candied red fruit, rhubarb, cream, and rose petals abound in this rosé from the Land Down Under, which is dominated by pinot noir. Before being released, the wine is matured on the lees for three years and goes through secondary fermentation in the bottle. Since 1975, Jansz has led the way in producing premium Tasmanian sparkling wines. Every fruit is grown in Pipers River's chilly climate and is produced ethically.

Lini ‘910’ Labrusca Lambrusco Rosso

Italians drink Lambrusco all day because it's fruity, has a low alcohol content, and tastes incredibly good. Lini "910" is made using the martinotti (charmat) method with sustainably grown fruit. The wine's luscious palate bursts with flavours of woodland berries and robust red fruit (imagine this as mature grape juice). Drink with barbecue or pizza.

Faire La Fête Crémant De Limoux

Some of the best-kept secrets in the sparkling wine industry are well-made crémants. These bubbles are made throughout France using the same vinification methods as Champagne (lees ageing in bottle and secondary fermentation), although they are often much less expensive. There are unique bragging rights for the Crémants from Limoux in southwest France: The techniques were created by the monks of Saint Hilaire Abbey in Limoux in 1531.

Naveran Cava Vintage Brut

The quality-to-price ratio of this estate-bottled vintage cava is among the best available. The organic wine, which is made from the traditional trio of grapes grown in the area (area-lo, Macabeo, and parellada), bursts with flavours of apple skin, roasted almonds, yeast, and grapefruit rind. Since 1901, Naveran has been making méthode traditionelle sparkling wines that are on par with some of the greatest in France.
