Add a little bit of vegetable oil for extra greasing. Now roll out small balls from this door to make a Paratha and cook it on the top of the pan with some butter.

* Chana Dal

Chana dal is one of the most popular dals in India and is consumed quite frequently in both North and South India. It is quite light in taste and can be easily used to make parathas. A proper and conventional Chana Dal Paratha also has lots of fresh coriander leaves and, the evident taste of turmeric, cumin seeds, and chilli powder. It is also certainly spiced and is one of those recipes that children are going to love. The only important tip that one has to remember while kneading the dough for these parathas is that it should be allowed to rest for at least half an hour before making parathas out of it.

* Lemon And Pepper Dal Paratha

This is very interesting. Take on the regular paratha recipe. One can take whatever leftover dal is available at home and add it to wheat flour. Now the star ingredients that have to be added to the dough include some lemon juice as well as black pepper. Everything has to be mixed properly to make a fluffy dough that should be allowed to rest for half an hour to 45 minutes. Now the parathas have to be made after taking small balls from the dough and rolled properly with even thickness. The overall taste of these parathas is very well-balanced and zesty because of the presence of lemon juice.

* Tadka Dal

Tadka dal is one of the most popular dal in India and also outside India. It is yellow dal that is seasoned with some spices such as red chilli peppers, cumin seeds, hing, and turmeric along with some other spices. The tempered flavour of the spices herbs and elevates the natural taste of dal. This dal when mixed with some wheat flour helps in making the most flavourful parathas that are spicy and appetising. One can enjoy these parathas to the fullest by applying lots of white butter on the top and serving with some fresh curd.

* Vegetable Dal Paratha

A vegetable dal paratha is like a hybrid paratha that is made by adding some extra vegetables to the already leftover dal that is mixed with wheat flour. One can add some finely chopped spinach, leaves, carrot or any other vegetable that they would like to add to the parathas. The dough has to be mixed properly and a little bit of water can be added to make the consistency proper. Now with this dough, one can roll out some small parathas that are properly crunchy and well-cooked. The outcome is so flavourful and complete on its own that one will not need any complimentary dish or ingredient by the side.
