Kala Chana Tikki

Kala chana tikkis are super healthy and made with aromatic Indian spices. You just need boiled and mashed kala chana, boiled potatoes, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and spices like cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. In a bowl, mash boiled kala chana with boiled potatoes.

Add chopped onions, green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, and a teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste. Then mix salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Shape the mixture into small, round tikkis. Heat a non-stick pan and shallow-fry the tikkis in a little oil until they are golden. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup. 

Kala Chana And Corn Pakodas 

Pakodas are a must during the monsoon. You need boiled kala chana, sweet corn kernels, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, gram flour (besan), salt, and spices like cumin powder, coriander powder, and chilli powder. In a bowl, combine the boiled kala chana and sweet corn kernels. Add chopped onions, green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, and gram flour. Add salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, and chilli powder. Mix well to form a thick, batter-like consistency. Heat oil in a kadhai, drop spoonfuls of the batter, and fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with chutney.

Kala Chana Stuffed Paratha
