A few sweet dishes are commonly consumed during breakfast to make the meal more hearty, nutritious, and fulfilling. You must have also tried them without giving a second thought about how they make the entire meal oh-so-delicious. However, these Indian delights should be consumed when you have an off day because dessert with breakfast is surely going to make you lazy at work, and you will have no one to blame but your taste buds.
Halwa
The first on the list is halwa, preferably sooji or rava halwa. It is often made during Navratri and consumed for breakfast, but can also be eaten on any casual day. Many people like to pair a plate of puri sabzi with rava halwa to complete the meal. It creates a perfect meal that satiates your hunger and helps you give an energetic kick-start to the day.
Lassi
Jalebi
If you live in or explore Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, you can spot people enjoying jalebi for breakfast (it’s true). The sugar syrup-immersed delicacy is a part of the first meal of the day, especially when you have kachori sabzi spread on the table. The potato curry is spicy, and jalebi helps to balance the hotness with this sugar syrup-dripping goodness. Try the dahi-jalebi combination with kachori-sabzi, and you will not want to eat anything else throughout the day.

Aloo Paratha With Jaggery
You must have eaten delicious aloo paratha in which potato mixture is made tempting by adding spices like red chilli powder, cumin seeds powder, black pepper, mango (amchur) powder, and coriander seeds powder. However, in many parts of India, people add jaggery to it to enjoy both sweet and spicy notes. It pairs well with a bowl of curd.
