A fruit that has had almost all of its water content removed with the help of drying procedures is known as a dried fruit. During this process, the fruit shrinks but is left energy-dense. Sun rays or dehydrators are some of the methods used to eliminate the moisture content from the fruit. However, the majority of the nutritious value of fresh fruit remains intact in the nuts and dried fruits. As a result, they are extremely advantageous. Almonds, pistachios, dates, cashews, walnuts and hazelnuts are all naturally occurring nuts. Raisins and anjeer, on the other hand, are dried fruits. Dried fruit is widely consumed nowadays. Dates, prunes, figs, apricots, peaches, apples and pears account for about half of all dried fruits markets. These are used widely in cooking, as they add to the nutritional value of our daily diet.
