Check out the tips to retain the crispness of biscuits in the rainy season:

  • Store in Airtight Container

The easiest way to maintain the crispness of the biscuits is to store them in an airtight container. If you have an open packet of biscuits make sure to store them in an airtight container that keeps the moisture away. Moreover, stop overfilling the biscuits in the container as the biscuits can break.

  • Use A Zip Lock Bag

Zip lock bags are the correct store option for storing biscuits. Store the leftover biscuits in the zip lock bag as they help in keeping the moisture away, thus preventing them from becoming soggy and stale. Note to keep the ziplock bags away from heat as they are not heat-friendly.

  • Cover With Tissues

If you want to maintain the crispness of the biscuits, layer the container with tissues. To make this, take a piece of tissue paper in the container you’ll be using for storage. Put the biscuits inside it and then layer them with another tissue. Tissues help in absorbing excess moisture, thus retaining the crispness of the biscuits.

  • Store It In Dry Place

It is important to store the biscuits away from wet and damp places with too much moisture. Instead, place them in a cool and dry place. It is best to store them in a kitchen pantry or cupboard.

  • Re-heat Or Air Fry

Baking, re-heating, or air frying helps to bring back the crispness of the soggy biscuits. Re-heat for 5-10 minutes, and you’ll see the biscuits back in their crispy state. This is because re-heating helps in extracting moisture.
