  • Reheat In The Oven

To revive your limp and soggy fires, preheat the oven to 200°C. Spread out the French fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Make sure you do not overcrowd them. Place them inside the oven and bake for 5–10 minutes, flipping them on the other side halfway through, until they turn golden brown. Note that the dry heat in the oven will help remove the excess moisture, thus restoring the crispiness of the fries.

  • Use A Toaster Oven

Looking for a quick and easy method to revive your fries? Nothing can be better than a toaster oven. To achieve this, simply arrange the fries on the toaster oven’s tray and toast them for a few minutes, until they are thoroughly heated and crispy. The compact size and the concentrated heat of the toaster make it ideal for revitalising soggy fries.

  • Try An Air Fryer

Air fryers have gained popularity in recent times due to their efficiency in producing crispy, fried-like results with minimal oil usage. If you have an air fryer, this is a quick and easy method to revive soggy French fries. For this, preheat it to 190°C and place the friers in the air bucket in a single layer, without stacking them up against one another. Cook for 5–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are crispy and golden brown. The circulating air helps to remove the excess moisture and crisp up the fries.

  • Double-Fry Method

This is a classic technique with which you can make your soggy fries crispy again. Start by frying the soggy French fries in the hot oil for about 3–4 minutes until they are heated nicely and turn slightly golden. Remove them from the oil and place them on the paper towel so that it can absorb the extra oil. For the second time, fry the fries in hot oil until they are crispy and golden brown. The double-frying method enables the fries to become crispy while maintaining a soft interior.

  • Use A Wire Rack

When you’re reheating fries in the oven, place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet and arrange them in a single layer. Upholding the fries enables the air to flow around them, thus preventing them from becoming soggy at the bottom. Bake them as usual in the oven until crispy fries are achieved.
