So, don’t let the fact that you can’t get some drinks at Starbucks get you down. Here are some Starbucks-inspired recipes that you can easily prepare in your own kitchen.

.Iced Chai Tea Latte: In a small sauce pan, bring your water to a boil and add tea bags to seep for 7-10 minutes. Then add milk and honey, reduce the heat to medium and warm the milky tea. Blend until frothy. Transfer your mixture to the cups of your choice and serve topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg.

.Pumpkin Skin Latte: The key to flavoured lattes is the syrup, which can be purchased online in packets of various sizes. If you want to make Starbucks-inspired pumpkin skin latte at home, you need to mix together water, sugar, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, pumpkin puree and coffee. This mix should be simmered for about four minutes until everything is well combined. Strain and place the mix in the refrigerator for an hour, then serve with whipped cream on top.

.Eggnog: From Starbucks’ current Holiday menu, the most obvious way to make Eggnog is to get some eggnog mix from the market, heat and froth with some milk before pouring over espresso or strong coffee. You can also make an eggnog latte with coffee, frothed milk, and eggnog syrup.

.Peppermint Hot Chocolate: Any hot chocolate can be peppermint hot chocolate with just a few additional ingredients. Pick your favorite hot chocolate mix, heat it as directed with milk, alternative milks such as soy, almonds, or hot water with a splash of cream. Add a teaspoon of peppermint syrup. Top it with whipped cream and crushed candy canes or peppermint candies.

.Caramel Brulee Latte: Starbucks’ signature caramel sauce is made by melting half cup of brown sugar, two tablespoons of butter, one-fourth cup half-and-half, plus a pinch of salt, for about 10 minutes on low heat. Then, use it in a latte as desired. For that special holiday touch, infuse some homemade whipped cream. Top it with some caramel sauce also if you like.
