Chiku Halwa

Chiku halwa is a delicious sweet dish that you can make on any day in under an hour. Start by sauteing cardamom seeds in ghee. Add grated or crushed chiku to the pan and stir it until you know that the raw fragrance has disappeared.

Add milk, and let ingredients come together, and simmer for at least 30-40 minutes. Add sugar and nuts to the halwa and continue with the process of stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Turn off the flame and enjoy the halwa with the stopping of freshly crushed dry fruits.

Orange Cake

Orange cake is what you need for your next gathering in this chilly weather to collect praise from your guests. The citric flavour will make everyone a fan of your cooking skills. Start by beating egg whites until you see soft peaks forming. Add sugar and keep beating until the ingredient dissolves and the mixture has soft peaks.

Beat egg yolks with sugar in a separate bowl. This mixture will be yellow in colour. Add flour and baking soda to this mixture and make a paste while adding orange juice to it. In the end, fold in the egg white mixture to the sugary combination. Pour the batter into a pan and bake it for an hour. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the top and arrange glazed orange slices on the top.

Strawberry Mousse

For a quick fruity dessert, try strawberry mousse. You do not have to spend too much time on preparation and baking this sophisticated dish. Start by converting strawberries into a puree in a blender. Add sugar and eggs and continue to blend. Soon the colour of the puree will lighten, and it will convert into a smooth paste.

Whisk this paste until it becomes lighter and fluffier. Add it to a pudding glass and add sliced strawberries on the top. You can also add alternative layers along with a sweet mixture of cream cheese and sugar. White and pink contrast will make it appear more irresistible.

Fig And Date Toffee

Toffee is everyone’s favourite, but if you make it using figs and dates, children can also enjoy the dessert without receiving frown expressions from their parents. Soak dates and figs in boiling water for 30 minutes. In another bowl, beat butter, eggs, and sugar until you have a light and fluffy mixture.

Combine flour, milk, and baking powder concoction with the sugary paste and mix again. Once you have a smooth batter, add drained figs and dates to it. Pour the batter into muffin cups and bake for 20 minutes. Until puddings are baked, prepare toffee sauce by bringing sugar, butter, and cream to a boil. Pour the sauce on warm muffins and serve with vanilla ice cream.

Kiwi Tarts

If your gathering includes people with a rich taste, you can serve them lip-smacking kiwi tarts. Prepare the pastry crust using maida, powdered sugar, egg yolk, butter, salt, and ice water. Roll the dough and arrange it into small tart pans. First, refrigerate for 30 minutes, then bake the crust for 5-7 minutes.

In the second bowl, prepare the filling using heavy cream and powdered sugar. Add this filling to the baked tart crusts and top them with kiwi slices. Refrigerate tarts for another hour before serving.
