I've all made Goa plans with our gang at least a million times. And due to some reason, they still remain pending. I have the summer bod ready, the beachy hat packed and bookings just about to be done when someone cancels at the last moment. Don’t worry, it will surely happen the next time, I tell myself. Oh, I mean the trip!

For now, check out these five amazing shacks where you can chill and party by the beach when you’re in Goa next time. (Or the first time)

1.  Brittos At Baga Beach

After a long day of watersports at the beach, (it has some really cool sports), you would be in dire need for a relaxing place to sit and chat with your friends. Head to Brittos Shack and indulge in some amazing Continental and Goan dinner along with loads of the cheapest Feni in town.

2.  Curlies At Anjuna Beach

This is by far, one of the prettiest shacks in Goa. With a mesmerizing ambience built among natural rocks, you get to witness the sunset in all its beauty. To satiate yourself, order some King prawns and masala red snappers along with some Prawn curry and rice for mains.

3.  Bobby’s Shack At Candolim Beach

A popular place with lots of special nights like Wednesdays Barbecue Nights, it offers a great place to mingle and socialize with new people if you are on a solo trip. They offer amazing food like the Goan fish curry or Xacuti Chicken. They also have Roasts on Sundays.

4.  Villa Blanche At Assagaon Beach

This shack is going to give you all the fancy European feels and once you see the menu, you’ll surely feel like you are time-traveling. They offer a range of breakfast and brunch options. Interestingly, it is believed that they import some of their ingredients directly from Europe and the Middle-East.

5.  Souza Lobo At Calangute Beach

Located at the Queen of beaches, Souza Lobo is one of the oldest shacks in Goa. As it is rightly said, ‘Old is Gold’. You’ll find the most authentic Goan food and freshly cooked seafood here. From Goan curries to Pork Vindaloo, this is a one-stop shop for all your cravings.
