Chai spice is a mixture added to the tea concoction while it’s brewing to infuse umami flavours to it. This combination includes cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, ginger, and other spices. While it is usually consumed in winter, it can be used throughout the year to make the best cup of tea in the morning to start your day. The speciality about these spices is that they combine well with dessert recipes (that’s right).

Chai Spice Truffle

Chai spice truffle is a delicate sweet dish boasting strong flavours. Each bite of it will make you want to guess what new element you just tasted. To start with its recipe, you need to blend cinnamon, cardamom, tea bags, heavy cream, nutmeg, bell pepper, cloves, and ginger in a hot pan.

In another bowl, add chopped chocolate and melt it. Once the cream mixture is ready, pour it over the melted chocolate and combine it well to ensure there are no lumps. Add melted butter, and once it has mixed well, refrigerate the mixture. Make small spherical truffle balls, coat them with cocoa powder, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before you serve them.

Chai Spice Cake

Serve your guests this chai spice cake, and they will be behind you asking for its recipe. Start by mixing sugar, butter, and cream in an electric beater. Add eggs one by one, chai spice mix, and a few drops of vanilla extract. Keep it aside once the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

Pour the batter into the pan and bake. Meanwhile, prepare a frosting of butter and cream cheese. Once the cake is ready, add frosting in layers, and top the dessert with cinnamon powder, chopped pistachios, blackberries, and black sesame seeds.

Chai Latte Cupcake

While chocolate cupcakes are for children, chai latte cupcakes are delicate delectable tea parties for adults. Infused with strong flavours of chai mix, you can bake these desserts in no time. Bring milk to a boil and add tea bags and chai mix to it. Keep it aside.

Prepare a mixture of chai spice, cake flour, salt to taste, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder along with heavy cream and eggs. Add vanilla extract on the top and pour the batter into liners. While the cupcakes bake, make the frosting of your choice and add a few tablespoons of milk and chai spice mix to it. Decorate the cupcakes and serve your guests.

Chai Spice Cookies

Cookies are a perfect addition to tea and kitty parties. This time, make your favourite cookies with a twist of spice mix. In a bowl, combine butter, chai spice mix, baking soda, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Using an electric mixer, blend sugar with butter, eggs, and vanilla extracts. Once you have a smooth paste, combine it with dry ingredients to form a thick combination. Lay small scoops of this on a parchment paper and bake the cookies. You can also sprinkle chocolate chips on the top. Let the cookies sit for a while and serve these with tea or coffee.

Chai Spice Custard

This custard is the ultimate recipe that your guests will remember for years to come. You have to start by preheating the oven and heating milk and heavy cream in a pan. Add sugar and stir until it has dissolved completely. Add the cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, black pepper, and ginger to this mixture along with tea bags.

Strain this mixture and combine it with another combination of beaten egg yolks. Once you have a smooth batter, pour it into various ramekins, and place them in hot water. Bake the dish in the oven, bring it to room temperature, and refrigerate before serving.
