3. Sponge Cake 

A cake recipe that needs no baking soda, powder but just a couple of egg whites, sugar and flour! Yes, it is that simple to bake a sponge cake. You can layer it with your favourite chocolate sauce, whipped vanilla cream or just some nuts and dry fruits! 

4. Flourless Cake 

Often made in a pan for easy removal, flourless cakes are made without flour so to give a more fudgy, airy texture with the eggs that are whipped and folded into the batter.
