Sautéed mushrooms with broccoli 

Mushrooms and broccoli are a match made in food heaven. So, cook it for your breakfast in 10 minutes following our recipe.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup roughly chopped mushroom
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tbsp chopped garlic
  • ½ tbsp chilli flakes
  • Salt and black as required

Method 

  • Heat up the oil and add chopped garlic.
  • When the garlic turns light brown, add your broccoli.
  • Cover and cook the broccoli for 5 minutes.
  • Open the lid and add mushrooms.
  • Sprinkle the salt sauté till the mushrooms start leaving moisture.
  • Cover with the lid for another 2 minutes.
  • When the moisture dries up, add pepper and chilli flakes.
  • Turn off the heat and serve alongside boiled eggs.

Creamy mushroom 

If you feel like having a heavy, but healthy breakfast, look no further than creamy mushrooms. Bonus point? They are very easy to make!

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup mushroom
  • 1 thinly chopped onion
  • ½ chopped bell pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp all-purpose flour
  • Oregano seasoning
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Grated cheese

Method 

  • Heat the butter and fry your garlic till light brown.
  • Add onion and cook till they are soft.
  • Add mushrooms and salt. Cook till mushroom loses its moisture.
  • Add bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add the flour and cook till it's slightly golden.
  • Add the milk and keep stirring till the sauce thickens.
  • Add grated cheese and season with oregano leaves.
  • Enjoy your creamy mushrooms with a slice of bread or an easy over egg.

Garlic mushroom sandwich

Craving a sandwich but want to try something different? Try this garlic mushroom sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 150 g mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 tbsp garlic, chopped
  • Thinly chopped tomatoes
  • Thinly chopped onion
  • 4 slices Multigrain bread
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Salt and black pepper as required

Method

  • Heat up olive oil and add garlic and onion in it. 
  • Cook till the onions are golden and soft.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till they are soft.
  • Add mushrooms, salt and pepper.
  • Stir till the mushroom filling is cooked. Switch off the gas and add the mayo.
  • Spread the butter on a slice of bread and add the filling.
  • Cover it with another slice and repeat the process for all the bread slices.
  • Toast the sandwich in a pan or in a sandwich maker.
  • Serve hot with a chilli dip.
