The inauguration of Ram Mandir is going to be a monumental event in the history of India. Just a few more days until January 22, when the whole country will be witnessing the consecration of the most awaited temple in the land of Ayodhya. The preparations are at their peak and the devotees across the globe are very excited about it.
Recently, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), in charge of world-famous Tirumala Lord Venkateswara temple, has declared to welcome the devotees to Ayodhya with one lakh laddoos. Srivari laddoo prasadam will be distributed a day before the inauguration of Ram Mandir.
While the usual Tirupati laddoos weighs around 170 grams each. The temple management is working on the arrangements to transport the prasadam to Ayodhya via road. The laddoos will be distributed a day before the inauguration and is said to have a shelf life of approximately five days. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams daily makes around 4 lakhs big size laddoos (175 grams each) and 75,000 small laddoos (25 grams each).
While addressing the media at Tirumala on Friday, A.V. Dharma Reddy, executive officer of TTD, said that Lord Venkateswara and Lord Rama are incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Therefore, the TTD has decided to distribute one lakh laddoos as a “goodwill” gesture to the devotees and VVIPs at the grand inauguration of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra in Ayodhya.
"The consecration ceremony is a historic moment for all followers of Sanatana Dharma. As TTD's primary objective is the propagation of Hindu religion, culture and values, we are honoured to have the opportunity to participate in the Ram Janmabhoomi pooja," said TTD executive officer. He further added that each laddoo will weigh around 25 grams.
The grand event will be attended by various VVIPs including the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and many other special invitees. Thousands of other devotees are also expected to participate in the temple inauguration ceremony at the birthplace of Lord Rama.
